Summer Video(s)

Alright so like usual, my cousin and I are making a video this summer. However, our original video didn't end up as good as we had expected.

Blood Exchange was going to be another Quentin Tarantino inspired action-suspense video. It was about a secret exchange and the events that occur when the deal goes wrong. I wrote the script and everything, and we were all prepared to shoot. And we did. But there were a few problems.

We filmed everything in one day. This was a long video, with a lot of dialogue, so it took a long time. This resulted in many boring angles. One of the things I like to have in my videos is good framing and angling. This video lacked many. Also, I used my new filters. However, they were smudgy, and because I used two at a time, they created a shadow on the lens that appeared in the footage. Filming took many hours, and by the end, my cousin and I just wanted it all to end. We were so exhausted and disappointed from the day that we didn't want to continue with the video any longer.

However, we made another.

Natural Inspiration is our experimental artsy film. The story is MUCH simpler and is much calmer, PG, and interesting. We took our sweet time getting random shots with the intent of making the video look pretty. And we have succeeded. Here are some screenshots.

We shall be finishing this video soon. I may post our video this year :D
